Hello friends, I am here just to share my experience when I ate at the legendary Baljeet Dhaba.
So this is actually called AMRITSARI THALI and If you’re in Delhi then you must try this at once, if you love food like me then probably by now you must have added this to your to do list.
This restaurant is located at Peeragarhi ,Delhi. They have 2 outlets in Delhi you can satiate your taste buds and go a gastronomical ride of the day. The price is very reasonable worth Rupees only 70rs for the half plate and for the full plate you have to pay 130rs.
I went there in the evening with my friend in front of the restaurant there is a parking slot so I parked and my scooty(Activa) and the I entered in the restrau over there and a waiter/member is always there to make you feel comfortable , he assisted me and I quickly gave the order and you get a coupon in return which is to be given to the kitchen area of this hotel, it’s wonderful to see everything getting cooked in front of you.,
After that I grabbed my table all ready to settle down those levitating taste buds of mine. There is no sitting arrangement, only standing table where you can eat easily rubbing shoulders with fellow eaters. The garcon served this delicious thali to me and my friend (Anuj) and hell yeah! we were very excited to start eating our thali , but I‘ve this absurd habit of clicking pictures of my food whenever I try it for the first time and now you are thinking that y i do this .So friends that just because when ever i click pictures i want a photographic memory store in my subconscious and that’s just I can easily share the experience with you .
I feel satisfied for having been there, It’s more for my memory and who knows one day these may turn me into a great food & travel blogger.
Baljeet amritsari Naan
I couldn’t resist the baljeet’s special naan which has stuffing with veggie and there is a huge dollop of butter over the naan and if you love butter then you can tell him just to add more butter over it (its free hahaha) , there is chole raita and for the better taste or change in the zaika there are onions with a lip smacking chatni which is not soo spicy, it’s quite normal there is no limit for chole, raita and onion salad you can always have as much as you want but I’ll suggest you to not go crazy bombarding over free stuff, always be wise and take only till your utmost need.Never waste the food as Annapurna mata will go angry over you. Just kidding .When you will have finished the waiter will give you a tissue paper and a small pebble like jaggery (gud) and a very pleasant smile on his face which comes as a complimentary with you thali, enough to make you want to come here again and again.
If you are someone who loved the north indian side of india, you may want to have a taste of our southern India as well. Get to relish some south indian snacks here.
